Kitchen Monkey Restaurant Equipment e-Commerce Store

Digitall Agency saw an awesome opportunity to make a positive impact and improvement in one of our clients’ AdWords campaigns. Kitchen Monkey is a retailer selling restaurant equipment on an ecommerce website. This client offers affordable/good quality products. In this highly competitive restaurant equipment environment Kitchen Monkey had moderate sales and low profits.

CHALLENGE

KM had been running Google Adwords for some time, and while they were receiving clicks and conversions, their monthly revenue was not sustainable.

To help them compete in this online environment new innovative e-Commerce platform was necessary as well as new marketing strategy. The ultimate goal was to increase sales and profit margins. To get there, Kitchen Monkey desperately needed rebranding, better product positioning and new marketing ideas. In addition, all products on the website needed total makeover.

In order to provide consumer with the quality and relevant information we had to recreate SEO friendly content.
Our approach was simple, in order to delver high margin profits that will stay, we focused on tasks that will deliver longterm results.

Our first big milestone was reached after we have redesigned logo and e-Commerce platform. Right after, we moved our focus to the creation of the content and to generation of good quality traffic to the new e-Commerce platform.

Our team invested a good amount of time to learn about the industry and the key to our success was very good understanding of the product characteristics. Therefore, main accent was placed on the consumer relevant product benefits and features.

RESULT

In a first year we were able to see our hard work is paying off. We have increased revenue by 875%, and we did so by keeping the costs down. Clicks showed an overall increase of 200%, while sessions showed an overall increase of 300%.

In the same time, the bounce rate showed an overall reduction of 6.5%, and transactions rose by 450%. What we are especially proud of and what we consider our biggest accomplishment is maintaining the Adwords cost to revenue ratio while continuing to increase conversions. In addition, we have created a long term marketing and business strategy that will bring great results in years to come.
